Why should you encourage your children to be active?
Hello, parents! My intention with this blog is to help parents of children and youth to encourage their children to be physically active. According to the 2018 Scientific Report of the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, children aged 3-19 who regularly participate in physical activity can achieve long-term health benefits. Do you want your children to live a long, healthy life? Children who are active at least 60 minutes per day can have better physical, social, and emotional health. Physically active children are much more likely to maintain a healthy weight, and they can enjoy a lower risk of many chronic diseases. They also can build strong bones and muscles, achieve healthy growth and development, improve balance, coordination, and strength, develop flexibility, improve their posture, and so much more! So encourage your child today to get up and get active!
